In this day and age, it is very difficult for us to define our true selves. We are so busy living up to everyone else’s expectations. We look in the mirror, and seeing the person that we think everyone wants us to be, instead of being who we are. We live in the world of “if only ___” (I’ll let you fill in the blank!)
If only you knew the real you! The true you lives on the inside and is waiting for your mind to realize it. The true you is the one who is on the inside begging for you to break free from the bondage of what life has dealt. The true you is the conqueror, who is ready to fight, not lie down and quit.
Sometimes, all we need to do is to close our eyes, and block our ears to what the outside has to say and listen to what the inside has to say. It says, “I can win.” Now, it is up to us to put that into action, take back what the world has wanted to take — our positive self-image. We were created from a loving God, one who sees us as victorious. Walk in your victory.
I agree totally with Billy on this one. Sometimes we look at ourselves and see our faults and our shortcomings but if we are saved we have Christ on the inside of us and we can boldly declare by faith, THAT I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME, HE IS THE HOPE OF GLORY AND IS THE GREATER ONE THAT LIVES ON THE INSIDE OF ME! That means for me I CAN STOP OVEREATING THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME,I CAN GET UP IN THE MORNINGS AND DO TAEBO EVEN WHEN I DONT FEEL LIKE IT THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME, I CAN WAKE UP EVERY DAY THANKFUL THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME! Death and Life are in the power of the tongues, when we speak life through God’s Word He equips us to be more than conquerors to be more than we can ever be in ourselves!
Billy, that is an awesome post and so very true. We need to absolutely walk in our victory…every day. Thank you for sharing what God puts on your heart. I believe that He is working through you to touch so many lives.

Thank you, Billy. You have blessed my heart today for i struggle with accepting this victory–trying to be what i think others expect of me. Thank you for reminding me that i am created by a Holy and Almighty God who knew exactly what He was doing. Thank you for encouraging me to be the person that the Almighty God intended.
